Abstract:
The aim of this research was to prioritize the effective factors in increasing productivity of man power in Kerman Regional Power Company.
464 official and contractual employees of this company were selected, 169 of which were chosen as samples after performing Kokran formula; random sampling was used.
Organizational, technical, personal and ethical factors, among various factors, were considered the effective factors in increasing productivity of man power. Also, to collect data, a questionnaire consisting of 158 questions was used based on the tree model (AHP). Collected information was analyzed using AHP method (multi-criterion decision making) and validity and reliability coefficients were estimated 0.94 and 0.806 respectively.
Data analysis revealed that:
A) Ethical factors are prior to personal and organizational factors in creating productivity.
B) Personal factors are prior to technical and organizational factors in creating productivity.
Since every category has a series of variables which have been examined, data analysis has specified their priority as follows:
1- variables related to effective organizational factors in productivity are prioritized as follows: employees training and education, creating motivation, knowing the performance, creating competition and occupational promotion, creating welfare facilities and services, changing and adjusting the attitude, innovation, improving hygienic and safety conditions and integration.
2- Variables related to effective ethical factors in productivity are prioritized as follows: liability and loyalty, hard working, knowledge transfer, honesty, working conscience, proper behavior with others, nobleness, operation purifying and fighting against administrative corruption.
3- Variables related to effective technical factors in productivity are prioritized as follows: making use of equipment, equipment updating, using internet sites, applying mechanized administrative and financial systems and using new ways of advertisement.
4- Variables related to effective personal factors in productivity are prioritized as follows: education level, work readiness and power, environmental adaptation, mental and physical health, creativity, increased knowledge and skill, job recognition, observing regulations and administrative discipline and self-confidence.
At the end, some recommendations have been presented for management and employees' levels and some advice has been given to other researchers according to the research findings
